About the Role

Esthetic in Portland, ME is seeking a skilled and professional Registered Nurse (RN) Injector to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a provider passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and delivering safe, high-quality injectable treatments.

You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals while contributing to clinic growth through exceptional service, patient education, and strong client retention. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in a supportive, fast-paced aesthetic practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aesthetic injections, including neurotoxins (e.g., Botox) and dermal fillers, with precision and safety
  • Assist with additional services such as laser and wellness treatments (training provided)
  • Conduct consultations, assess client needs, and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Educate clients on procedures, expectations, and pre- and post-care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in EMR systems
  • Capture before-and-after photos for treatment documentation
  • Monitor for and manage complications, ensuring patient safety at all times
  • Drive client retention through follow-ups, rebooking, and relationship building
  • Stay current with aesthetic trends, techniques, and products
  • Deliver a high-end, professional client experience
  • Support marketing initiatives, including social media content creation
  • Adhere to all safety, compliance, and clinical protocols within scope of practice

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
  • Minimum of 1 year experience performing aesthetic injections (neurotoxins and dermal fillers)
  • Strong understanding of facial anatomy and complication management
  • Experience with consultations, treatment planning, and client education
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and proper charting practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to high standards of care
  • Comfortable with social media engagement and content creation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in advanced injection techniques
  • Experience in a medical spa or aesthetic clinic
  • Established client base or proven track record in client retention and sales
