Aesthetic Nurse
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Aesthetic Nurse to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, the ideal candidate will deliver non-surgical aesthetic treatments within our state-of-the-art med spa while also providing support for plastic surgery patients in a limited capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about aesthetic medicine and is eager to grow their skillset through hands-on training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Aesthetic Treatments & Patient Care
- Administer aesthetic treatments such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and skincare services (training available)
- Provide comprehensive pre-treatment consultations and develop individualized care plans
- Perform or assist with energy-based device treatments (e.g., lasers, radiofrequency, microneedling, body contouring)
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and skincare regimens
Surgical Support (Limited Capacity)
- Assist with pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up appointments
- Provide wound care, suture removal, dressing changes, and patient education under provider direction
- Ensure continuity of care between surgical and non-surgical services
Operations & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EMR
- Ensure treatment rooms and devices are clean, stocked, and functioning
- Collaborate with front office, surgical team, and providers to ensure seamless patient experience
- Attend training sessions and stay current on aesthetic trends and treatment protocols
Qualifications:
- Active RN or NP license in KY
- Aesthetic experience preferred (injectables, skincare, or devices), but willing to train the right candidate
- OR or PACU experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, upscale environment
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Experience (Preferred but not Required):
- Botox/Dysport, Dermal Fillers
- Microneedling, Laser Resurfacing, Body Contouring
- Familiarity with pre- and post-op plastic surgery protocols
