Midwest Medical Weight Loss & Aesthetics PLLC is seeking a Collaborating Physician / Medical Director to provide oversight and mentorship to one part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP). The selected candidate will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on aesthetic and weight loss medicine. This role is ideal for a physician looking for a low-commitment leadership role that allows them to oversee a specialized NP without managing full clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Oversight
• Provide general clinical oversight and consultation to the Nurse Practitioner (NP) in accordance with Illinois state regulations.
• Ensure adherence to medical laws, safety standards, and compliance regulations in aesthetic and weight loss treatments.
• Review patient care plans and provide clinical guidance on complex cases when necessary.
Clinical & Compliance Responsibilities
• Maintain regular communication with the NP regarding patient care and treatment protocols.
• Ensure that all medical protocols, legal requirements, and licensing standards are met.
• Serve as a trusted resource for advanced clinical decision-making and treatment strategies.
Leadership & Mentorship
• Act as a mentor and support system for the NP, fostering growth and continued professional development.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in aesthetic and weight loss medicine.
• Assist in maintaining evidence-based treatment protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
✅ Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) in Illinois
✅ Strong understanding of aesthetic medicine, weight loss treatments, and patient safety protocols
✅ Ability to provide oversight and support without full-time clinical involvement
✅ Knowledge of state laws regarding NP supervision and medical directorship
✅ Passion for collaborative, patient-centered care
