About Skin Defyne Medspa
Skin Defyne Medspa is a growing medical spa in Westwood, MA dedicated to delivering exceptional aesthetic treatments and an outstanding client experience. We are seeking a Licensed Esthetician who is Laser Certified to join our team in a unique hybrid role that combines clinical aesthetic treatments with front desk and patient coordination responsibilities.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both providing hands-on skincare treatments and creating a welcoming, seamless experience for every client from check-in to check-out.
What You’ll Do
Clinical & Aesthetic Responsibilities
- Perform laser treatments safely and effectively (laser certification required).
- Provide facials and advanced skincare treatments customized to each client’s needs.
- Educate clients on skincare, treatment plans, and home-care recommendations.
- Recommend and sell skincare products, treatment packages, memberships, and services through consultative conversations.
- Maintain treatment rooms and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Front Desk & Patient Coordinator Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and create a warm, professional first impression.
- Answer phones, emails, and client inquiries regarding services, pricing, and promotions.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using the practice management system.
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate client records.
- Coordinate provider schedules to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and retail displays.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Esthetician License (Required)
- Laser Certification (Required)
- Previous experience as a Laser Technician in a medical spa or aesthetic practice preferred.
- Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology office, aesthetic clinic, or front desk/patient coordinator role is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using scheduling software and computer systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Honest, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to recommend services and retail products confidently.
- Existing client base is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
