We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to assess patient needs effectively in different modalities. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific health concerns.
Responsibilities
- – Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- – Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- – Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective treatments.
- – Maintain accurate records of client sessions and treatment plans.
- – Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices.
- – Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- – Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support client health goals.
Requirements
- – Certification in massage therapy from an accredited program.
- – Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- – Experience in patient assessment and physical examinations.
- – Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- – Excellent patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- – Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
